Social Psychology:
I currently teach part of PSY 204 and PSY 311 at the University of Auckland, covering topics such as attraction, sexuality, and singlehood. I direct the tutorial program for PSY 204, focused on giving students hands-on experience in collecting and writing up data.
Close Relationships:
I developed a new graduate course, PSY 768: Sex and Well-being, which covers research on sexual relationships and close relationships.
At my previous institution (University of Toronto) I was the instructor for PSY 424 Social Psychology of Interpersonal Relationships (2014-2017).
I use interactive software for in-class participation and activities (such as finding out our class’ attachment style in the image).
Capstone: I developed the Psychology department’s inaugural Capstone course (PSY 399), in which students work in groups to communicate psychology to the lay public.
Professional Development:
In my role as the department of Psychology’s Masters Mentor, I curate resources to help the professional development of grad students (such as those below).
